Monitor 1 screen colors change to green and can't read it. Replaced it, same problem. Was able to fix with color management, then it changed back to green.
Monitor 2 ok

Hi @TraciM
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
It sounds like you're dealing with a persistent issue affecting Monitor 1, even after replacing it. Since Monitor 2 is working fine, the problem might be related to the graphics settings, drivers, or the connection to Monitor 1.
Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
Step 1: Check the Cable and Connection
- Ensure the cable connecting Monitor 1 to your desktop is securely plugged in on both ends.
- Try using a different cable (e.g., HDMI, VGA, or DisplayPort) to rule out a faulty cable.
- Test Monitor 1 on a different port on your desktop.
Step 2: Update Graphics Drivers
- Open Device Manager by pressing Windows + X and selecting Device Manager.
- Expand the Display Adapters section.
- Right-click on your graphics card and select Update Driver.
- Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
- Restart your computer after updating.
Step 3: Adjust Color Management Settings
- Open Control Panel and go to Color Management.
- Select Monitor 1 from the list of devices.
- Click Advanced and reset the color settings to default.
- Test if the issue persists.
Step 4: Test Monitor 1 on Another Device
- Connect Monitor 1 to a different computer or device.
- If the green tint appears on another device, the issue may be with the monitor itself.
Step 5: Check Graphics Card Settings
- Open the graphics card control panel (e.g., NVIDIA Control Panel or AMD Radeon Software).
- Check the display settings for Monitor 1 and ensure the color profile is set correctly.
- Reset the settings to default if necessary.
Step 6: Run HP Diagnostics
- Restart your desktop and press Esc repeatedly during startup.
- Select System Diagnostics from the menu.
- Run the Display Test to check for hardware issues.
