HP Pavilion 595-p0074
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello. I have a pavilion 595 p0074 and recently signed up with Frontier 2gig fiber service. I've connected the Sagemcom Fast 5290 to the ethernet port using a cat 6 cable. With either the cat6 or cat 5e I can get only 1gig download speed (actually 900+). Before I troubleshoot with Frontier, I wonder if this model can handle 2g to begin with. I'm still on Windows 10, and wonder if upgrading to windows 11 ( which I plan to do eventually) will make a difference. Thanks for any input you have.

Thanks Paul. I thought my computer may be a bit old for the job.
