HP ENVY Recline TouchSmart All in One - 27-k309
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Why is envy 27-k309 internal USB connector for wireless keyboard and mouse combo not compatible with logitech mk470 dongle?

mk470 mouse does not work and keyboard lags badly in response to inputs often repeating a key multiple times.

What replacement keyboard & mouse combo works on this internal USB port?

No, they can't be compatible because they have different code (just thinking about 2 staff are sitting on 2 close desks using same receiver for mice and keyboards).

You need to disable internal receiver and use Logitech dongle only to avoid interference.

Regards.

Banhein - thanks for responding, however your comment was not helpful. It did not provide any solution, rather a comment that missed the question entirely.

Simply put why does the internal USB port for the hp wireless keyboard and mouse do not work properly for a logitech dongle for a MK470 combo wireless keyboard and mouse? The keyboard behaves inconsistently and the mouse not at all. When removed and plugged into any of the same computer's external USB ports this MK470 product works properly.
