how to connect keyboard HP KG-1061 to my acer laptop. 

 

I have the receiver connected to the computer. It also appear on my bluetooth settings. But I dont know how to turn on the keyboard.

To connect your HP KG-1061 keyboard to your Acer laptop, follow these steps.

 

Insert the Receiver: Ensure the receiver is properly connected to a USB port on your Acer laptop. Since you've mentioned it appears in your Bluetooth settings, the receiver should be detected.

Check Battery: Make sure the keyboard has fresh batteries installed correctly. Often, keyboards come with a battery compartment on the bottom or at the back.

Power On the Keyboard: Locate the power switch on the keyboard. It's usually on the bottom or along the side. Slide or press the switch to turn it on. Some keyboards may have a small LED light that will indicate it's powered on.

Pair the Keyboard: Since the keyboard is recognized in Bluetooth settings, you might need to pair it manually:

  • Open the Bluetooth settings on your Acer laptop.
  • Find the HP KG-1061 keyboard in the list of available devices.
  • Select the keyboard and follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.

Test the Keyboard: After pairing, test the keyboard by typing in a text editor or any other application to ensure it’s functioning correctly.

 

If you still have trouble turning on or connecting the keyboard, refer to the user manual for specific instructions, or try the following troubleshooting steps:
