hp x3500 issue

Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I purchased a x3500 mouse and the problem with the mouse is that from day one the mouse doesn't respond whenever it is idle for a few seconds each time i have to click to get the pointer moving please help.I have connected it to 3-4 devices but the same problem arises every time.

that didn't help because the product is not listed on the hp official site plus whenever I tried to search the product a printer with the same model number i.e. x3500 crops up
