Hi @tejas1905
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
The "Network Connectivity Problem 999" error typically indicates an issue with your printer's connection to the Wi-Fi network.
Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
Step 1: Reset Network Settings
- On your printer, go to the Settings menu.
- Select Network or Wireless.
- Choose Restore Network Settings to reset the Wi-Fi configuration.
- Reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Step 2: Verify Wi-Fi Connection
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is active and stable.
- Check that your printer is within range of the router and there are no physical obstructions.
- Restart your router and reconnect the printer.
Step 3: Update Printer Firmware
- Visit the HP Support website and download the latest firmware for your printer model. Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support
- Install the firmware update to ensure compatibility and resolve potential bugs.
Step 4: Reconnect Using WPS
- Press the WPS button on your router.
- On your printer, press and hold the Wireless button until the light starts blinking.
- Wait for the connection to establish.
Step 5: Use the HP Smart App
- Download the HP Smart App on your computer or mobile device.
- Use the app to reconnect your printer to the Wi-Fi network.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
