Hi @jyothiprakash,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like your Bluetooth is experiencing an issue where it's not turning on or off, and the Bluetooth button is disappearing. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.

Restart your Laptop

  • A simple restart can sometimes resolve temporary glitches that may cause issues like this.

Check Device Manager

  • Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
  • Expand the Bluetooth section. If there is a yellow exclamation mark next to the Bluetooth adapter, it indicates an issue.
  • Right-click the Bluetooth adapter and select Update driver.
  • You can also try Uninstalling the driver and then reboot your laptop. Windows will attempt to reinstall the Bluetooth driver automatically.

Enable Bluetooth from Settings

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
  • Ensure Bluetooth is turned on. If you can’t see the Bluetooth option, it could be a driver issue.

Run Bluetooth Troubleshooter

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
  • Run the Bluetooth troubleshooter to detect and fix any issues automatically.

Check for Windows Updates

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
  • Check for and install any pending updates, especially related to Bluetooth drivers or the operating system.

Re-enable Bluetooth in BIOS (if applicable)

  • Sometimes Bluetooth may be disabled in the BIOS. Restart your laptop and press the BIOS access key (often F10, Esc, or Del).
  • Check for Bluetooth settings in the BIOS and ensure it is enabled.

Check Bluetooth Services

  • Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  • Find Bluetooth Support Service, right-click, and select Restart. Ensure it’s set to Automatic.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
