Hi @suwusf,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your computer might be experiencing an issue where it detects a network connection but is unable to access certain network services or resources. This issue can occur due to several reasons, such as network settings, connectivity issues, or misconfigured DNS settings. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem:
**1. Check Network Status
- Check Connection: Ensure that you're connected to the correct network and that you have a stable connection.
- Restart Network Devices: Restart your router and modem to refresh your network connection.
**2. Run Network Troubleshooter
- Windows Network Troubleshooter:
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet.
- Click on Network Troubleshooter and follow the prompts to diagnose and fix network issues.
**3. Check IP Configuration
- Release and Renew IP Address:
- Open Command Prompt as an administrator.Type ipconfig /release and press Enter.
- Then type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
**4. Flush DNS Cache
- Clear DNS Cache:
- Open Command Prompt as an administrator.
- Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.
**5. Check Proxy Settings
- Disable Proxy:
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Proxy.
- Ensure that Use a proxy server is turned off.
**6. Update Network Drivers
- Update Drivers:
- Go to Device Manager.Expand Network adapters.
- Right-click on your network adapter and select Update driver.
**7. Reset Network Settings
- Network Reset:Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status.
- Scroll down and click on Network reset.
- Click Reset now and follow the prompts.
**8. Check for Software Conflicts
- Antivirus/Firewall: Sometimes, security software can block network access. Temporarily disable your antivirus or firewall to see if it resolves the issue.
**9. Check Network Configuration
- Correct Network: Make sure you’re connected to the correct Wi-Fi network and that your network settings are properly configured.
**10. Test with Another Device
- Try Another Device: Check if other devices on the same network are experiencing similar issues. This can help determine if the problem is with your computer or the network itself.
**11. Check for Windows Updates
- Update Windows: Ensure that your operating system is up-to-date, as updates can sometimes resolve network issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
