Hello, and Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Are any wifi devices working in your location? Can a phone connect?
The normal simple fix for a wifi issue: power off the wifi signal - Modem from your provider, router (if you have a separate one), and your PC. Power them back on in order, and be patient! Modem (wait for the lights to normalize, normally a minute or two), then the Router (again, wait a bit for all the lights to come back), then finally the PC.
Check your wifi connection. IF your PC is a bit long in the tooth, be sure to try and connect to a 2.4Ghz channel from the router. Some older HP PC's did not come with a 5.0Ghz band wifi radio.
