Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I can see all 4 computers in my  network on my new computer but none of the other computers can see the new one. I need to share a printer from the new computer and I need to copy files from one of the old computers to the new one. The computer I need to copy files from is running Windows 7. Can someone tell me why the new computer is not visible and point me to a tutorial to help me fix the problem?

Network sharing and file and printer sharing are turned on. I have been searching the internet all day and haven't come up with the solution.

Thanks.

Bob

Thanks, but I have gone through those steps multiple times today and the computer is still not visible to other computers on the network, neither the one also running Windows 10 or the two running Windows 7. Any other ideas? Might it be the McAfee firewall that HP installed in this computer? The other computer running Windows 10 is using the Windows Defender firewall and it can be seen from this new computer.

I am making progress, my new computer can see all the other computers and my two Windows 7 computers can see the new computer and see shared files and print to the printer on the new computer.

But I still can't see the new Windows 10 computer from the older Windows 10 computer and therefore can not access shared files or the printer on the new computer.

Could anyone please suggest other things for me to try to fix this problem?

Thanks.

Bob
