compaq 8000 elite sff pc
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have seemingly been going round in circles.

All I need to do is find and download Bluetooth onto the PC

There are no references to bluetooth anywhere inthe System.

All the win 10 upgrades are up to date

Should I now try the chip supplier? If so how do I find the name and specification?

Regards

Hi:

Did your PC originally come with a combination wifi/Bluetooth adapter?

95% of the 8000 Elites came with no wireless networking, and even if they did, the available Bluetooth adapters at the time would most likely be too old to work on W10

You can purchase a USB Bluetooth adapter that is compatible with W10 if you want Bluetooth.
