printer icon missing from lower right of screen

Hello and thank you. In the lower right corner of my screen there are a number of icons. One, a tilde/hat looking icon, when clicked reveals hidden icons. I used to see my printer icon there but after clicking too fast, too many times, it has disappeared. How can I restore it?

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

On my system, the printer icon only appears in the taskbar when a job is printing.  It does not show up there any other time.
