I would like to update my ethernet network adapter card it is a Realtek PCIe GBE ZFamily controller. MY internet speed is being limited to around 100 MBPs now and service is now 300 MBPS. I am not sure what card i need to buy to replace this one so i gain higher internet speed. can someone point me to where I can buy a new network adapter or what i need to do. It is a internal card on my desktop.
thanks

@long7time
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have Realtek RTL8151GH-CG installed on the PC.
-
Data transfer speeds: up to 10/100/1000 Mb/s
-
Transmission standards: 1000BASE-T Ethernet
To get the answer to this question, the Ethernet port is mounted on the motherboard and its not possible to modify.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
