unable to connect pc to HP Envy 6400e

Unable to connect Imac OS to HP ENVY 6400e as HP Smart now saying PC needs to be Imac 0S 11.  I am running Catalina 10.15.7.   When purchasing printer, it did say it was compatible with Catalina.  Can anyone help please.
