I would like to upgrade the wifi bluetooth 4.2 combo adapter to a wifi bluetooth 5.0 or above.  Some questions I need answered are; what would be a good upgrade, can I install a dual band 2.4-5.0 /bluetooth 5.0 and use the antenna already in the laptop?  I have tried using a bluetooth 5.0 dongle with much frustration.... 5.0 bt devices not showing in the pairing list.  Even when I got a 5.0 bt device to pair, I would only get faint hissing intermittently.  From all indications the 5.0 dongle and drivers are working, bt device is connected and working properly, except they aren't....

Hi:

Looking at the specs for your notebook, it appears that it comes with a Realtek RTL8822BE or CE Wi-Fi adapter.

If that is the case, you can try this dual band card which has a good chance of working.

You should be able to find this model Wi-Fi card on eBay.

Search by the HP part number, not the model of the Wi-Fi card.

Thank you for the quick response.  I will check all your suggestions.  I looked at the 9560 card but wasn't sure about the cnvi.  So thanks for that.   I've watch the video several times for other things.  It actually is a decent video.  Thanks again!
