Network adapter is out. what is the network adapter part number for Pavilion Elite e9280t CTO; Uses the 82567V-2 gigabit chip

Hi:

 

The ethernet adapter is an integral part of the motherboard.

 

You would need to replace the motherboard to repair.

 

You have two other options:

 

If your PC's motherboard PCIe x1 slot is free. install a PCIe x1 gigabit ethernet adapter.

 

Buy a USB to RJ-45 ethernet adapter.

 

Since your PC does not have USB 3 ports, a gigabit USB 3.0 to RJ-45 ethernet adapter will not achieve gigabit speeds.
