My wifi has stopped working and the messages on bootup indicate a faulty wireless card or connection, however i can't see it. With back off i can see the motherboard, power supply,etc..but no wireless card unless it's beneath the motherboard?. Thanks for any help.

Hi,
I can't work out what is your machine. My guessing it is one SG2 which is similar to the following machine:
http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=c02620694
If yes, then the wireless card should be in the position of the PCI Express Express mini slot.
If no, what is your machine actually SG2 or SG5 if SG2, must be SG2-something.
Regards.
