Hi @sachinmr,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your Victus by HP 15.6-inch Gaming Laptop's Wi-Fi is still not working despite updating the system and the Wi-Fi adapter, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.

Check Wi-Fi Settings:

  • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi and make sure Wi-Fi is turned on.

Restart the Laptop:

  • Sometimes a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.

Forget and Reconnect to Network:

  • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Manage known networks.
  • Select your Wi-Fi network and click Forget.
  • Reconnect by selecting your network from the list of available networks and entering the password.

Run Windows Network Troubleshooter:

  • Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
  • Run the Network Adapter troubleshooter.

Update Network Drivers:

  • Go to Device Manager (right-click on the Start button and select Device Manager).
  • Expand Network adapters, right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter (MediaTek Wi-Fi 6), and select Update driver.
  • Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.

Roll Back Driver:

  • If a recent driver update might be causing the issue, you can roll back to the previous version.
  • In Device Manager, right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter, select Properties, go to the Driver tab, and click Roll Back Driver if the option is available.

Check for Hardware Issues:

  • Ensure that the Wi-Fi switch (if your laptop has one) is turned on.
  • If possible, check for any hardware issues or loose connections by opening the laptop.

Reset Network Settings:

  • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status > Network reset.
  • Click Reset now and restart your laptop.

BIOS/UEFI Settings:

  • Check your BIOS/UEFI settings to ensure that the wireless adapter is enabled. Restart your laptop and enter BIOS/UEFI (usually by pressing F2, F10, ESC, or DEL during startup).

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
