My desktop only shows one wifi network.  I installed an extender with another wifi name but desktop doesn't see it.  Laptop does however. Do I need an external adapter to access the extender wifi network?

Hi:

What model wifi card does your PC have?

Is the other wifi name on the 2.4 or 5.0 GHz wifi band?

Maybe the card in your desktop PC is only a single band wifi card.

Was this reply helpful? Yes No
