Yesterday I got my new HP Slim Desktop PC S01-pF0000i. It's wifi card is Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11ac 1 × 1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 part L17365-005. I installed ubuntu20.04. However, the wifi is ON but not showing any networks. My phone & other laptop kept next to the desktop shows the wifi router signals easily. So it is not that the wifi router signal not reaching the place where I kept the desktop. Also in bluetooth, also it does not show any nearby devices (even when I turned ON bluetooth in phone). can you please help what may be wrong.

I have the same wifi card as you. The driver for that particular card has not officially been released on Linux. However you can install the unofficial open source version. There are multiple ways of going about this process. The easiest one is to connect your laptop to an ethernet cable and going to Additional Software on Ubuntu. Next you should see module labelled with your particular wifi driver followed by dkms. This is a kernel module. Click install and wait for it to be completed. Next reboot. Afterwards, you should be able to access your wifi networks.
