wireless mouse issue

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there, i am having problems with a newly purchased wireless mouse. It only works when i hold it right next to the USB receiver, does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it or should i just return it, many thanks.

We understand that the brand new mouse not working.

 

Check with different USB slot issue remains the same ?

 

Check with different computers is the same issue?
