2009m Monitor
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just after my computer completed its updates, my monitor stopped working. Black screen, power switch light just flashes. Any thoughts or is it dead?

Thank you for your assistance. The link you provided was for computer issue. My issue is my monitor, the power light just flashes, nothing else.

Hello

So sorry, if its the monitor then try a monitor self test. Hook up the power cable without connecting to the tower. See if there is a message like "No Input Signal". If the message comes up then the monitor is working fine. If not then monitor has gone bad and needs to be replaced.

You may use the following link to contact HP Support and get your monitor replaced if in warranty.
