Hi:

This is the latest BIOS revision for your PC.

The safest and easiest way to update the BIOS in your PC is like this...

1. Get a USB flash drive and format it with the FAT 32 file system.

2. Download and run the above BIOS update file.  It will open an information page with various instructions.

3. Follow the intructions listed for F10 Setup BIOS Flashing

4. You follow the instructions and copy the contents of the DOS flash folder to your formatted USB flash drive.

5. Make sure you only have the keyboard, mouse, monitor and the usb flash drive with the BIOS files connected to your PC.

5. With the flash drive plugged into a usb port, reboot the PC and at the beginning of the HP welcome screen, tap the F10 key to get access to the BIOS setup utility.

6. On the File menu, select the Flash System ROM option from the list.

7. Follow the on screen instructions to flash the system ROM.

8. After the PC reboots, the BIOS should be updated and you can remove the flash drive and reconnect any other devices you had connected to the PC that you may have had to remove.
