Hi, the desktop I am using have a pop up message that said AHCI Port 0 Device Error everytime when I start a computer. I can continue to boot by pressing f2 and the computer can run properly but it says the C drive might be corrupted. I have backed up all the things in the C drive. Does that mean a new hard drive is required or is there a way to fixed it without replaceing the harddrive?
Thanks.

Hi,
Backup your data and be sure to create the external HP recovery media if you haven't already done so.
Boot into the BIOS and enable the Boot time diagnostics. You'll find that function under the Boot topics drop down. Once enabled and saved then power off and back on and run the diagnostics. If the diagnostics detect a hard drive issue then you should replace the hard drive.
