Hi, Stevanus:

The problem is that your PC has the Intel Skylake chipset and there is no native USB 2 support until after you install W7 and install the chipset drivers.

There is USB 3 support but your W7 DVD does not have the required USB 3 drivers in the installation files, which is why the KB and mouse freeze.

So... the solution is to run this tool to put the USB 3 drivers into your W7 installation media.

Since you are using a DVD you will have to convert that to a bootable USB installation flash drive.

The tool has readme instructions for use and it also has instructions for how to convert a W7 installation DVD file into a USB flash drive file.

Select the file you plan to run the tool on.

To supplement what Paul wrote, note that Microsoft will end support for Windows 7 in January 2020, less than 3 years away.  So, at that time, you will need to install the "original" Windows 10 software, to keep your computer secure.

So, rather than "crippling" your "designed-for-Windows-10" computer, I recommend that you reinstall Windows 10 now.

For what reason are you trying to use Windows 7?

Do you have software that will not run in "Compatibility Mode" under Windows 10?

Compare to buying a new automobile, and replacing the brand-new tires with old tires -- they may work for a while, but the performance of the new tires will be much better.

Hi mdklassen,

thanks for yor additional information.

unfortunatelly my system will only support windows 7 and not yet compatible with windows 10 software.

You're very welcome.

Sorry that didn't work.

Try this workaround.  You can even do this with your W7 DVD...

See that x64 bit folder in your screen shot, under USB drivers?

Copy the contents of that folder to a USB flash drive.  Plug the flash drive into your PC

Boot from your W7 installation disk.

After you select the install now option, select the Drive Options - Advanced menu, then select the Load Driver option.

You should now see the USB driver files listed.

If you check the box, it will only include the compatible driver.

Follow the prompts, and W7 should install.

What software are you writing about?  What's their web-site?

Note that Windows 10 has a "compatibility wizard" that allows Windows 7 programs to run "inside" an emulated Windows 7 environment.
