BIOS/CMOS hotkey

hi, i have a bootable linux installer on a pen drive, and i need it to be installed to another pendrive, so i needed to go to BIOS/CMOS , problem is, i quiete dont know which key is it, when i hit f2 it goes to a system diagnostic screen, in which what i needed cant be found there, i tried f10,f8 and f12 which pops out the boot loader menu,but it seems like theres only two option there ipv4 realtek.... and ipv6 realtek....., may i know please how to set boot device priority on this model?


ps. i know that the pendrive is bootable because my classmate just made a bootable pendrive linux os.

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP Pavilion- 550-165d Desktop.

I understand that you want to configure the boot order in BIOS and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting. 

 

Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,

  • Turn on or restart the computer.
  • While the display is blank, press the f10 key to enter the BIOS settings menu.
  • Select the Advanced tab using the right and left arrow keys.
  • Use the up and down arrow keys to select Boot Order.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to change the boot order.

Click here to refer the document and perform troubleshooting steps mentioned above to fix this issue.
