HP all in One 22-b052
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I did the initial power up on this machine and then once the Windows 10 screen came up, I hit start, power and shut down so I can unplug the power and hide the cord. Then when I hit power to start back up... the HP logo came on and now it is stuck on a black screen except mouse is visible and the "thinking" circle remains thinking.

I have tried to unplug all items, pressing and holding the power button for 30 seconds. I got several loud beeps and now an update and then it requested a restart but I am back to the black screen with the thinking circle... it did say it would take several minutes and I was not to interrupt or unplug.... but I am not feeling confident... what do I do now?

Hello, @Nini2 – Hope you are well 🙂

Thanks for joining the community! It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel.

I see that your HP All-in-One is stuck on the startup screen. You also mentioned that the PC made some beeping sounds while starting up. Check http://hp.care/2jqeyXm to tackle this issue. Restart your computer and if you are getting the beep codes, follow the steps mentioned in the document.

If the issue persists, go to http://hp.care/2jqkRKu and follow the steps mentioned under “Step 3: Troubleshoot computer startup issues” to fix your issues.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.

Good luck 🙂
