I have an HP Pavilion p6000 series. My grandmother also has the exact same computer. After about 1 year of usage, both the blue lights under the power buttons went out. Haven't opened up the tower to see if they just had a loose connection, but my thoughts was they would have put an LED light under the button so that it wouldn't hardly ever have to be changed, if at all. I've never had this happen, so it could just be the model of the Pavilions that were bought.
All help is greatly appreciated!

Hello Makaylag1995,
The little blue light underneath the power button no longer glows, is that correct? I will be happy to help you.
Can you please provide the full make and model of the computer you have, If you are unsure where to locate that information have a look at this document for help if needed.
Please respond back at your earliest convenience.
Thanks

Makaylag1995,
As you mentioned in your first post, I would recommend you opening the side panel and following the connection to the motherboard to make sure it is still connected. Below are screenshots that will help you out if you need it.
