Can the EliteDesk 800 G2 Desktop Mini use both a SATA SSD and an M.2 SSD at the same time?
I have an SSD and want to migrate the OS to a faster 256GB M.2 NVME card, but keep the SATA SSD as well for extra storage. (I can do the migraion, that's not the issue).
I don't want to buy the M.2 only to find I can't do this 🙂

For what it is worth that is what I'm doing with my Z600. The Kingston Predator M.2 form factor ( Amazon.com: Kingston HyperX Predator 240GB PCIe Gen2 x4 (M.2) Solid State Drive (SHPM2280P2/240G) attaches to the PCIe bus via an interface card, and the SATA ports all work normally. An on-board M.2 slot is connected to the PCIe bus also, normally, and you just choose in BIOS what drive you want to boot from.
I posted about this in here, and also about the fact that I found one storage controller driver that works great and the other (also from HP) that did not.
For me I'm now using the Predator as my boot drive, and a large SSD for my documents drive. This approach is is a very fast way to do things (the way you want to do it too), but using a regular HDD as your documents drive would also work.
