Can I add a 4-port External USB 3.0 PCI Express Card to a HPE CTO desktop (380t, 6 years old).

The card I would like to add is a Rosewill RC-508 4-port External USB 3.0 PCI Express Card.

@rmwmd, welcome back to the forum.

If this is the adapter card that you want to install, it should work fine, as long as, you don't have the PCIe x1 slot on the motherboard blocked by a video card.  The PCIe x1 slot is located between two PCIe x16 slots.  You should review the "Specifications" tab for the card to get the full information that you need.  Also, read the Customer Reviews to see what users are saying about it.
