Hello everyone

I have a hp envy desktop but I have no idea what the model is.
I want to swap my graphics card which is currently a gtx 750 for a more powerfull Nvidia gtx 1060 but I have no idea if it will fit.
Does anyone know if it will fit?

Hi Archangel

Measure the length of the GTX 750 and open space from the 750 to any obstructions in your tower. Then compare to the 1060 you like.

The 1060 is probably a dual slot card. I would think the 750 is also. But HP sometimes uses low profile cards in their PC's.

My GTX 1060 requires one eight pin supplemental power supply connector. So you also need that.

Check wattage on current power supply. The 1060 needs a minimum 400 watt PS.

The last things to do before installing the 1060 are:

1. Uninstall current graphics drivers

2. Enter UEFI BIOS. Disable Secure Boot and Enable Legacy Boot.  My guess is you have UEFI BIOS since you have a GTX 750 installed in your PC now.
