Pavilion 510-P138ND
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to upgrade my graphics card, but I don't want to make additional changes (power etc.).

- does this desktop support a different card and/or different brand like Nvidia.

- I know I have to pay attention to the size of the card, but I can't find what maximum Watt I have available on this desktop for running a different gpu

thank you all for helping.

Hi Pvd0

Your PC has a 180 internal power supply.

You need a minimum 400 watt power supply to run a GTX 1070. The 1070 cards are 10 to 12 inches in length and are double slot. The 24 pin motherboard power connector is right below the PCIe x16 slot.

You also have to measure the current PS. Some good power supply choices are:

Corsair

Seasonic

EVGA

Super Flower

You can upgrade the system if both components fit in your PC.

You also need to enter the BIOS to disable Secure boot and enable Legacy boot. Uninstall the current graphics driver brfore installing the new graphics card.
