Bought external front panel with usb 3.0 for my old motherboard, but usb ports do not work. Tried it in some new PCs - worked great. I think, that internal usb3.0 pins on that motherboard are differnet from standart. Can anybody provide any information about usb 3.0 pins on that motherboard?

AMD A75 FCH chipset, FM2 socket (CPU).
http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03343058
Manufacturer's name: MSI
Motherboard name: MSI MS-7778
HP/Compaq name: Jasmine
USB 3.0 Shrouded Header is BLUE (19-pin, 2x10 with one pin removed for correct alignment),
located in the middle of the connector row (side of motherboard)
USB 3.0 headers on motherboards are STANDARDIZED, so your assumption is Incorrect.

IF this header was not used in the original build it is COMMON for the OEM to Disable the hardware (BIOS)
to reduce issyes with the Operating System (MS Windows).
CHECK the BIOS Setup on this MSI motherboard. LOOK to see IF the internal USB 3.0 header is ENABLED.
The HP Envy 700-147c used this motherboard.
Windows 8 was the first Microsoft operating system to offer built in support for USB 3.0.
Drivers were under development for Windows 7, but support was not included with the initial release of the operating system.
However, drivers that enable support for Windows 7 are available through websites of hardware manufacturers.

Here is a pic of the standard cables for USB3 and USB2 that would attach to the motherboard. you'll notice that USB3 is a 2x10 header and USB2 is a 2x5 header. (each does have a pin removed, acting as a key).

Alexss, USB 3.0 headers on motherboards are **NOT** STANDARDIZED. I have recently migrated an MSI-7906 mobo from an HP500-339 PC to a lager enclosure. I discovered that the (front panel) USB3 ports didn't work! I reconnected the old pc's 19-pin f.panel connector into my mobo to prove I hadn't screwed things up during the physical move to the new enclosure and the USB3 ports worked! So, with an ohm-meter, I traced each conductor on the old 19-pin connector and discovered that the HP 19-pin cable was wired significantly different from the "standard". I also traced out my new enclosure's pin-19 cable and dicovered that the pinout **was** per the standard. Voila, there you have it!!
I realize that your HP mobo is not an MSI-7906 but judging from the physical layout from the HP specs, it looks very similar. I suspect that the 19-pin USB3.0 connector pinout on your mobo is not standard and is likely the same layout as the MSI-7906. Pls see the enclosed .jpg
