Hi, I have exactly the same problem and have spent hours on it. I do not want to completely uninstall the program as it may stuff up my subscription somehow. I went into settings, and apps on computer and hit repair and the old printer is still there on the dashboard. There is a reset but not game as I may lose all the data for the printer. ie subscription etc. I am thinking when I installed the new one, maybe I should have said replace old printer instead of install new one ?

At least it functions, it is just painful. I even went onto the HP account and deleted the printer as being registered to my account and that didnt  help either.. AAArrggghhh!

@Dockeergirl3

It won't affect your subscription. It just won't change anything so there's absolutely no point in trying. Life's too short. It's out of sight, just a right pain that we don't have the control to delete something that's now obsolete for us.
