Hello Everyone, I purchased an used Desktop Video Monitor, it's HP LE1901w Monitor.
I bought this monitor for its features , LCD, size, display quality, generaly , it's great.
But , Unfortunately, i had a problem on this monitor, in relation with colors display.
First of all, when i start using the monitor, after being off for a while ( 2 min and more ) , i plug it in one of my two computers, Desktop computer or Laptop, everything is okay, display, colors, awesome.
After some minutes ( 1 to 15 min ) , there is a color changement :
This is my only problem, i tried to change VGA Cable, try with HDMI Cable, others, but in vain ... same problem,
i tried to update the Monitor's driver but without any changes.
There is any solutions to try to solve this problem ? Thank you.

Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.
I understand that you have an HP LE1901w 19-inch Widescreen LCD Monitor. I read that the monitor display is good for the initial few minutes of powering on and later changes in relation with colors display. This happens when connected to a desktop PC and also to a laptop. The color enhancement happens via VGA and HDMI connections. You have updated the monitor drivers and the issue persists. I appreciate the steps you have performed and have certainly done a good job.
I suggest you to perform the following steps to fix the discoloration of the monitor:
To fix incorrect colors, complete the following steps:
Check the video cable connections and make sure the connection is not loose. Tighten the connection screws if the connector is loose.
Press the Auto or Autoselect button on the display.
Press Menu, and select Factory Reset. If the screen is still discolored, continue to the next step.
If the display has more than one type of connection available such as VGA, DVI, or HDMI, try a different type of connection.
If possible, connect the display to another computer. If the colors are incorrect when the display is connected to the second computer, the display might be damaged or defective.
Hope this helps. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions. Good luck! 🙂
