When I bought my CQ3080AN, it came with a multimedia keyboard - ability to program launch buttons. This had an onscreen display appear for things such as mute and volume. Since that time, it appears that these keyboards have been phased out, as I had to have this keyboard replaced under warranty the other day.

The keyboard it was replaced with is the Compaq PR1101U, which is a standard 101 plus volume, mute and sleep buttons. Whilst Vista recognises these buttons, there is no longer any onscreen display outputs - other than the windows volume control icon on the tray at the far right showing some graphical display changes when these buttons are pushed. I can appreciate that because the keyboard is different to this new one that the original key board drivers would no longer work correctly, however I cannot find any drivers listed with HP that would suit this keyboard and provide on-screen display again.

Does anyone know if this is just a driverless "vanilla" keyboard or are there any drivers out there that would provide some onscreen display functions once more?
