Conflicting information regarding Virtualization, VT-x and Intel processor identification utility

HP 8000 Elite Small Form Facto
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

My Environment:

    PC = HP 8000 Elite

    processor = Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHz

    Memory = 8 GB

    OS = Windows 10 Pro

Short story:

The Elite's BIOS shows the following are enabled:

    Data Execution Prevention

    Virtualization Technology VTX

    Virtualization Technology Directed I/O

But Intel Processor Identification Utility says:

    Intel(R) Virtualization Technology: Yes

    Intel(R) VT-x with Extended Page Tables: No

I.e. there seems to be a contradiction.

Long story:

Read the following at Intel:

    https://communities.intel.com/thread/113545

Intel says that everything is ok from the processor point of view and rcommended that I contact HP.

Question: Does the Elite really support VT-x even though the Intel Processor Identification Utility says NO?

Thanks,

Bill
