My PC does not have an F-drive so I inserted the blank CD in the E-drive and keep getting a message to insert the media in the F-drive.

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

Are you sure it is asking for a "CD" and not a "DVD"?

I'm asking because the HP Recovery Media disk set for my Win7 laptop is three DVDs plus a CD -- and I find it hard to believe the HP Recovery Manager could put all that information on a bunch of 700MB CDs, instead of 3.4GB DVDs.

I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP
