DPS self test on BIOS

The hard disk self test was completed, the completion code is 0 and what that means? i am using the HP Compaq dc7800 Small Form Factor and model number is AQ532US#ABA

Code 0 means "Test Completed"  in other words no problems found.  Why did you run the test?

Here are the completion codes for the Drive Protection System (DPS):

When the test has been completed, one of three messages will be displayed for each of the drives tested:

• Test Succeeded. Completion Code 0.

• Test Aborted. Completion Code 1 or 2.

• Test Failed. Drive Replacement Recommended. Completion Code 3 through 14.

If the test failed, the completion code should be recorded and reported to your service provider for help in diagnosing the computer problem.

I ran the DPS self test.  Got a seemingly contrary result:

Test failed.  Drive replacement recommended.  Completion Code: 0

Everything I've seen on those codes indicates that 0 is the result of a successful test, not a failure.  What does it mean?  Running test again...
