Hi everyone.
I am about to buy a Prodesk 400 G1 as a little under-the-tv box.
It has a DVI-I socket.
1. Will a DVI-I to HDMI cable do the trick for the sound? Or do I have to buy a DVI-I to HDMI converter?
2. Also, my screen is 1366 x 768 and I don't see the resolutions in the Spec sheet. Will it auto fit the screen?
Thanks in advance
Edit:
3. I know it maybe a bit overkill, but is it possible that a Xeon E3 would go in there?
Double edit:
4. The 8200 elite has a display port. Would a display port to hdmi cable deliver the pictuer and sound to theTV?
Reason? The 8200 USFF and the 400 G1, I can't decide which one to get

An HDMI-to-HDMI connection is the only way to transmit BOTH audio & video.
Presumably, the computer you are considering has stereo-audio output, and your TV has "RCA" inputs.
See: http://www.discountcarstereo.com/images/P/2.5-RCA3_m. jpg
for the adapter cable that you can use, together with a DVI-to-DVI or DVI-to-HDMI cable.
You'll have to program the TV to "listen" to the RCA inputs, rather than the sound-component of the HDMI-input.
For "under-the-platform" boxes, take a look at:
http://www.visions.ca/catalogue/category/Details.aspx?categoryId=0&productId=26823&sku=NEOX6
It has HDMI-output, and wireless capability, and has no (noisy) fans.
Prices are in CDN dollars (multiply by 0.75 to convert to US).
