HP Pavillion 550-150

I had my internet speed upgraded by Windstream and was assigned a new network and password. My computer still shows the old network as connected as well as the new one. I was told the old network is no longer active but I am unable to delete it from the computer. It continues to be shown as the first network connected but it has a weaker signal. How can I delete it? Windstream says HP needs to advise me as they do not know about how the computer does that sort of thing. I cannot find a delete option. Please advise.

As I understand you want to delete the old wifi network you no longer use,

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

What steps have you taken to delete or forget the old network?

Please let me know if you've already done the below steps so that I could suggest other ways 😉

To simplest way to delete a wireless network profile in Windows 10:

  1. Click the Network icon in the lower right corner of your screen.
