Pavilion AIO 24
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I had shut down my computer to move it across the room, and when I plugged it back in I got 3 loud long beeps followed by 4 short beeps. I tried unplugging it again, holding down the power for 15 seconds and plugging back in.. same response. I tried unplugging it and hold down the power for 30 seconds and plugging it back in and same response. I have tried powering on and pressing F9, powering and pressing F10... same response.

My computer was purchased in September, so less than a year old. Help please!

 Hi Tay

A three beep, four beep cadence suggests the following:

Indicates potential power system failure.
  1. Reduce to minimum config (CPU, System board, PSU, 1 DIMM of memory) and isolate failed component.
  2. Reduce further if issue persists.
  3. Test known good PSU.
  4. Replace affected component.
  5. If unable to confirm source, replace CPU, System Board, PSU.

Contact HP Support. You should be in warranty.

Grzy
