Product: Z240 SFF Workstation
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
the workstation has 3x DisplayPort and nothing else.
we can use a DP - HDMI cable and everything works fine.
what we want to achieve is using this cable to plug into an active HDMI extender which plugs into the back of the monitor.
we have three monitors, one local to the PC which uses a passive DP to DVI converter, this works fine. the other two monitors need to be run over the extenders but we cannot get them to work.
would we need an active converter to get the DP signal to HDMI because we are using an extender or is there something else that we've missed?
