Need a driver .... Desktop running my CAD program in windows 10 with no options for any other version
Can not find a driver to match the two. minimal computer knowledge.

Sorry, but that's a really OLD printer and, according to the HP Product Page, the newest drivers are for XP: http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=58271&lang=en&cc=us
You MIGHT be able to install them using Compatibility Mode, but I seriously doubt they will work as MS has changed their drive models a LOT since XP.

You can install it per these instructions. You'll need to install the XP 32bit driver.
While very challenging, it can be accomplished. Have fun !!!!

I was in the same boat with my Designjet 750C+ (E/A0).
Install your plotter using the HP Designjet 430 driver (which is also a 42" E/AO plotter).
The 64-bit driver works perfectly for my Win-10 desktop, and the 32-bit driver on my Win-10 tablet
