Hi

I'm looking for some help on the NPCD379HAKFX.  A number of current and recent HP machines (e.g. Z1, Z240, Z640, 8300 series) come with this Nuvoton "SIO-12" on the motherboard.  e.g. http://www.techrepublic.com/pictures/cracking-open-the-7000-hp-z1-workstation/52/

I can find no info on this chip, Nuvoton tell me it's a special for HP, and under NDA.  I'm sure it has some hardware monitoring capabilities, and currently appears unsupported under Linux (specifically SLES / SLED 11).

Several of these machines claim SLES/SLED support.

Is it possible to release info on this chip for Linux driver development, and are there windows drivers available ?

Thanks

For such a request I think it's better to directly ask the HP Support:

Thanks. I don't have a support contract or warranty with HP, and the support pages are generic.

If you could direct me to someone specifically who can provide this information, that would be much appreciated.
