I want to update my Wireless card on my HP Provilian Hp-1220 Desktop. My Network server Timewarner is broadcasting a 50Mbps network. My wireless card can only handle up to 25Mbps. I am looking for the drivers for a HP 802.11 a/b/g/n Touchsmart Wifi & Bluetooth Minicard. I ordered the card through HP parts store.

You're very welcome.

Hi:
Please do the following steps so I can figure out what model wireless chip is on that card...
Go to the device manager and click to expand the Network Adapters category.
Find the HP 802.11 a/b/g/n device, click on that, and then click on the Details tab.
Now you see a Property drop down list and it is defaulted to Device Description.
Drop down on that list and select the third item (Hardware ID's).
Post the top string of characters you see in the window.

You will need to install it because there can be several different model wireless cards, and they will all have different drivers.
I will need that hardware ID from the device after you install it unless you can find some manufacturer info on the sticker or somewhere on the card in front of you.
