I have a new elitedesk 800 g1 sff.
I'd like to carry out a fresh install of Windows 7 Pro 64bit on an SSD drive because I tried to clone it but it BSOD.
I'm trying a fresh install, its seen in the biso but when I boot from cd it stops and doesn't find the HD during the setup and I can't find drivers to install to go any further.
Am I missing something?
Win7 64bit Pro

Crucial BX100 SSD 250GB
Any help much appriciated.

Spoke to both HP and Crucial, the drive isn't supported.
Only drives supported are....
Internal drive
320 GB up to 2 TB SATA (7200 rpm)
500 GB up to 1 TB SATA (10000 rpm)
500 GB up to 1 TB SATA SSHD
128 GB up to 160 GB SATA SSD
256 GB SATA SED
Crucial say HP's limitation for the drive is pretty rare and replacing it with the MX100 or the MX200 drives as those are SEDs

Hi:
See if this works...
Download the drivers from this link below (first or second file listed -- 32 or 64 bit as applicable).
Extract (copy) the files onto a usb flash drive without any folders.
With the flash drive and W7 installation media plugged into the machine, boot from the W7 installation media.
After you select the install now option, select the Drive Options - Advanced menu, then select the Load Driver option.
You should now see the storage driver files listed.
If you check the box, it will only include the compatible driver.
Follow the prompts and hopefully, W7 will install.
