After a few weeks of purchasing the HP notebook I noticed a fine horizontal line appear on the screen intermittently. The frequency of this line was visible with usage. Now this line is permanently visible and along with it, I have a vertical line across the display. This does not appear when I use a secondary display. Is this a HDW fault ? How can I have this corrected. Its already over a year since I purchased this unit. Please HELP

Did you try to contact HP phone support when this first happened while the unit was under warranty?
Did this happen due to normal wear and tear?
Have you checked if this happens in the bios?
