Please i need help here. I have an HP TOUCHSMART 300, that since i placed the cpu fan on it, it doesn't power on, only fans are working, no power button blue light, and no blinking lights, no noise coming from it either. Also when i press the power button, the green light next to the power cord in the back turns off, but fans continue running... Pleasae help me, it's the onlything I have for company.
I'm a senior citizen, but i've fixed laptops and desktops before. Thank you in advance. Blessings

Please try the Hard Reset method.
Remove Battery and Power cord. Push and hold the power button down for 30 seconds. Now power on the unit only with power cord.
If it resolves, shutdown the unit and put the battery back in.
If the Problem continues, it could be a Hardware issue with System board, please contact hp to get a service ticket logged.
