I have an HP 8100 Elite SFF... I have one monitor plugged in through the vga port and the other in through the displayport (to vga) port... When I start my computer, only the vga to vga monitor starts up. I have to unplug the diaplayport to vga cable, plug it back in, and then the monitor starts up and I have my dual monitors working perfectly. I have to do this each time I start my computer... Why is it not recognizing the displayport as a monitor upon boot?  Thank you in advance for your help!!!

Hello,

Please download and update the latest BIOS version from the HP website and see if that resolves the issue.

hi, try i nthe BIOS, under advanced and device options, enable Integrated Video. Usually second monitor will be enable once you login to windows.

Also check primary video option under advanced and see if that makes a difference.
